EU Benchmark Regulation
As a market leading alternative fund data provider and research house providing hedge fund indices, alternative fund indices and investible benchmark indices, Eurekahedge will comply with the EU Benchmarks Regulation (BMR) which introduces a common framework and consistent approach to benchmark regulation across the EU. Under the BMR, the European Securities and Markets Association (ESMA) will publish a register of administrators and third country benchmarks, in accordance with Article 36 of the Benchmarks Regulation. The BMR went into effect on 1 January 2018 and all of our indices were launched prior to that. We will be taking steps to ensure that all existing and newly launched indices comply with the BMR to be included on the ESMA benchmark register.
